A Visit with Jake Vibbert of JC Steel Targets

Jake also talks about overcoming challenges and preparing for matches. He talks about the importance of developing confidence and not dwelling on mistakes. Jake also talks about the benefits of dry fire and the use of barricades similar to the ones that we built.

For those getting into the sport, Jake recommends an off the shelf Remington 700 in .308 mounted in a chassis system. Such a rig is capable of 1MOA accuracy which is good enough to compete successfully. From that point, one just needs to practice.
