All decisions pertaining to the NWPRL will be decided by the committee members and approved by the director and assistant director. Committee members will be appointed by a majority vote of the existing committee members.

Competitive Divisions: There will be two divisions for shooters: Open and Limited

Equipment Restrictions: There are no equipment or caliber restrictions for either division with the exception of individual match directors holding caliber restricted matches i.e. .308 only matches. Shooters who average above 80% on their best three scores or win any match that is counted in the series will be considered in the Open division, all others will be in the Limited division. Generally any long range shooting gear is allowed (laser range finder, ballistic calculators, spotting scope or binoculars, tripod, shooting sticks, support bags, etc.) by matches. However, there may be specific restrictions for some stages of matches. Specific gear restrictions are governed by the match director of each match. If you have questions, be sure to contact the appropriate match director of the event you are interested in attending.

Matches: All one and two day individual shooter matches in the region (Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Montana) are eligible to count with a maximum of 3 counted matches at any location. The director or assistant director will approve / disapprove all participating match locations with an emphasis on maximum location and shooter participation. No group, club or location will be denied without good reason.

  • Matches must have a minimum of 20 shooters to be counted for series points.
  • Match directors may submit their calendar of events to the board for consideration of adding their matches to the NWPRL series schedule.
  • Match directors will collect $5.00 per shooter, in addition to their regular match fees, for any match that is counted in the NWPRL series. These fees will be forwarded to the NWPRL for use as administrative funds (insurance, website, etc.). These funds will not be used in any personal way by the board.
  • Match directors will submit, in a timely manner, the final scores from their matches to include shooters full names, scores, and final positions.
